First, What is the check-out time ? Second, Say, I booked for three days then do I need to check-out on the 3rd day or on the 4th day ? And, are cabs available from ashram to kalka, If not then how to arrange for one ?

Best would be to email Ashram at contact.omswami@gmail.com and ask.
The booking in Ashram is like anywhere else you might have booked stay - if you booked till from 28th to 30th, then on the 30th you checkout, at the checkout time.

There is no specific checkout time, as long as you leave when it’s day so you are not travelling back in the dark. I think.
