Death… Eternal truth

This morning, a very unusual thought found a place in my consciousness. I was thinking about how a person when alive makes an impact on the lives of many. How a person brings joy to himself and the people around, making others feel happy with their existence. We go through all sorts of emotions and share a lot with the individual at some point in time. How small is life? One day, we all have to return to the source. Some may find the abode of the Lord, some may find a return to the body. It’s a journey a soul goes through.

Ever thought about the one we love, when we lose them, what birth they will be getting next in their journey. What if they take the birth of a human or of any other being? While living, we make so many arrangements for everything. We try to take care of everything to our best. But, can we really take that good care of the next life, if any. How grateful we are to be blessed with this life and to understand that the only thing worth pursuing in life is to find your source. Love of God.

I felt whether we are really making any arrangements for our next life and our near and dear ones. Are our efforts in alignment with the absolute truth? Are we making progress in our consciousness?  The only way I know to make an impact on lives is to live a life of service imbibing the divine virtues and helping mankind in whatever way possible I can. Above all, to place the Lord in our hearts. It is the only light that shines bright and help us walk through this journey. To continue to progress in our consciousness with the grace of God. It’s a sheer coincidence, when I opened YouTube after sometime of having this thought, I found one of the discourse of Swami ji on similar lines.

It’s so naive to think that we are this or that. We are a tiny grain of sand in the vast grandeur of the Lord. In just a second, when it’s a call to come back.. there is an end, there all thoughts, emotions and feelings go away. The body is no more. We miss the person, only the memory remains. Some memories live eternally with us. Then again, after a while, life moves on. Kitna temporary nature hai existence ka.

We are so blessed to find the umbrella of our beloved Swami ji who is holding our hand, guiding us and taking us through this journey with love and warmth. May we continue to grow infinitely in his grace and do good to whoever we come across.

Do share your thoughts, I am eager to know what all great minds here on earth, think about it.
