I read an article by a fellow community member named Ruchika Garg who narrated the unfortunate event that took place with her cousin and how she decided to gift her os.me membership. I do not know if she would be able to listen to this bhajan, but if you are reading this Ruchika, this bhajan is a birthday gift for your cousin on behalf of entire os.me community so that divine strengthen her faith and provide her divine protection.

Happy Birthday Harshita 😊

English Translation:

Please take me in your refuge, O Lord of Protection!

My Salutations to Supreme who came to rescue his devotee in the form of Lion-Man;

You alone is the essence of Samsara, bondage that I feel and You alone is the essence of liberation that I am working towards,

My Salutations to Supreme who came to rescue his devotee in the form of Lion-Man;

I behold this fierce form of yours,

That is the cause of destruction of old creation,

I behold this fierce form of yours,

 Out of whose creative flow of energy, Creator creates new universe,

My salutations to the Lord of Protection in his most fierceful form,

You alone are the cause of destruction of old habits and tendencies too,

My Salutations to the Lord of Protection who is the cause of cause of creation,

You alone are the cause of anything that appears new and creative,

I bow down to you hundred times again and again,

O’ the final journey of all beings in the universe,

My Salutations to Refuge of all, Lord of Protection in his most forceful form,

Please take me in your refuge, O Lord of Protection!

My Salutations to Supreme who came to rescue his devotee in the form of Lion-Man;

Hindi Lyrics:

Shree Charano mein Apne jag do,

Jai Jai Jai Narasimha,

Shrishti bhai tum ho, Mukti bhai tum ho,

Jai Jai Jai Narasimha;

Yeh tera vikraal roop jo,

Shrishti vinaashak banta hai;

Phir teri naabhi se,

Bramhaa, Shrishti rachaita khiltaa hai;

Jai Jai Jai Vikraal dev ho,

Shrishti Rachaita Narasimha;

Shat- Shat tujhko,

Mera naman ho,

Hey Naaraayan Narasimha;

Shree Charano mein Apne jag do,

Jai Jai Jai Narasimha.
