MANTRA is used to attune mind and breath like the pulsation of sound. The phonetics of Sanskrit strike the palate at multiple reflex points stimulating energy in numerous meridians that awaken the dormant parts of the brain (most of which are as yet unused in average man) and enhance the circulation and flow of energy throughout the body. There are 72,000 naadis (bundles of tubular vessels) as part of the psychic nervous system These 72000 Nadis are divided into 2 different types of channels:
1) The Invisible Channels which is the channel of the mind and self.
2) The Visible Channel which includes the nerves, muscles, arteries, veins, cardiovascular system, lymphatic system and the acupuncture meridians in the body which work with the central, autonomic, sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.
The 7 Major Chakras reside and work in the cerebrospinal (brain-spine) system inside the spinal column and are connected to the Main Nadi System (Shushumna).
This is where the chakras control the functioning of the entire human body.
The chakras work with both visible and invisible energies. These chakras are situated throughout the body as mini whirling vortices of energy situated along the length of the spinal column and a seventh at the crown of the head. These Chakras function like valves that regulate the flow of energy through our energy system. A proper balance in the Chakras is essential for our good health. If there is any blockage or imbalance in the chakras it can result in diseases and ill health.
When a mantra is chanted, sound energy is generated and the vibrations of that energy is diffused and distributed into the physical nervous system by these naadis through six major chakras situated along the length of the spinal column and a seventh at the crown of the head. The Sanskrit mantras for the chakras are the key factors for awakening their energy on all levels . mantras can help in activating, energizing and balancing the chakra system and clearing off blockages.
Different mantras produce different vibrations. At a deep level, subconscious mind is a collective consciousness of all the forms of primitive consciousnesses which exist throughout the physical and subtle bodies. The dedicated use of mantra can dig into subconscious crystallized thoughts stored in the organs and glands and transform these bodily parts into repositories of peace
