I was reading foreword by noted kannada author Shivaram Karanth, he touches upon his friend who was supposed to read the printed version of his new book, unfortunately he is no more. The author mentions, how his friend had a struggling childhood wherein both his parents are lost while he is young and is orphaned and yet completed his S.S.L.C, joins PTI and becomes a noted reporter of his times. He is killed in a bus accident in NEFA region while on duty. The words stirred up emotions in me about the circumstance, but that is not the reason of this article.

I have read stories that inspire, wherein the achievers had mostly difficult and trying childhood and yet reach their potential and achieve success. Probably they do not know to give up and make adjustments. They chase something relentlessly they believe in. I wonder what that motivation is, how it stands during their trying times and how they find a way to pursue it without anything on their hands. A strong fearless determination might be embedded in their life. I sometimes think, it is the grace of god that makes them what they become. Probably such people are blessed even though they wouldn’t have achieved the material successes of life, they fought and found ways to reach their true potential. Probably the compass of their consciousness drives to persevere in that direction.

Success achieved through unshakeable determination, will power and overcoming all the odds in the path and reaching their highest potential is something only few people can experience. That’s a real gift from god I suppose.

This is the path of the humankind, in search of their potential. May be finding your life’s truth and reaching your potential are the same, they get merged and become indifferentiable.
