To accomplish our mission and keep our rivers of truth and love free from pollutants like misinformation, spam, poor-quality-of-writing, and hate, we rely on samurais.

The idea is quite simple. Our members write plenty of content on os.me and as we build our outreach, this content is only going to grow. But, not all content is worthy of your time. As they say, what is written without effort is read without pleasure. We want to ensure that every piece of writing on os.me is meaningful, insightful and worth our members’ time. The Samurai Council will ensure just that and more.

Each Samurai will own an idea on os.me and have the autonomy to steer it, build it, and regulate it.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Any os.me member can apply. There is an eligibility criteria that you can view on your Samurai profile. To become a Samurai, you must have excellent English language and writing skills.

Eligibility criteria is built on your current activity on os.me & lifetime Karma Earnings till date.

We will be happy to make an exception if you are an extremely good writer and have the time to steer the community.

To effectively play the role of a Samurai, a minimum time commitment is needed from you every week and you will be asked to confirm this in your application.

The greatest reward is that you will be helping others and yourself by giving. However we do offer the following as a token of our gratitude:

An honorarium of Rs. 5,000 per month for fulfilling all conditions mentioned under the Samurai’s role.

Free access to premium content worth Rs. 60,000. The Creative Writing course access is granted on acceptance and the remaining at the end of successful three months with us.

Cash prizes of Rs. 100,000, Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 25,000 to the finest Samurais at the end of 2023. Decision based on best managed ideas (per readership, quality of articles & engagement).
