Standing in front of Sri Hari ji,

mired with all the bygone memories.

We completed 11 yrs on this most pious land today,

which holds the devout enigmatic energy of our Guru’s feet.

Holding those memories close to my heart,

I remember every phase of our ashram..

the transformation so swift yet rapid,

the conversion so massive yet potent.

A mud hut was where Swamiji lived

and called it home;

To serve my almighty, the kitchen on the floor had no boundaries;

A small meeting room with standing fans…

a pair of brown curtains through which Sun God peeped in for a glimpse,

a kamandal filled with holy water sat beside my master’s cot.

His innocent paduka patiently waited for hours to serve His Swami..

Moon showered his luminescence with endless joy

seeing Swamiji walking on that uneven terrace,

and mountains cherished the laughter of the most radiant one, our lovable Swami.

With limited resources, there was no dearth of food, love, affection.. not even time.

Blessed are the souls who witnessed the

blooming of  Mother Earth, and

the trees dancing to the tunes of the murmuring river.

Wondrously, Nature salutes a true Saint who

nurtured this soil with His love and grace

It whirls in celebration of  His presence

And bestows blessings on each devotee.

As this ashram grew, it gave me the opportunity to grow with it;

it held my hand on the delicate turns,

to culminate seva, to observe life,

to witness the transient nature of everything,

above all, to be in my Guru’s seva.

At the feet of Sri Hari, I reverently bow my head today,

For He is the source of endless peace, standing right here between us

To shower blessings, care and affection.

All glories to the one who stands firm in our joys and sorrow,,,

all my reverence to that almighty one- our dearest Swami.

Thank You, Swamiji. Sri Badrika Ashram is home for all of us. 🙏🕉Hari Om🕉❤️🙏
