Hindi Lyrics and English Translation:

Shvaason ka tum vaig banke,

O ‘ Lord, You are the one who make the breath move,

Pranon ka chaitanya ho,

You are the awareness out of which life sprouts;

Ho anu par tum vibhu ho,

You are smaller than the smallest, and mysteriously, you are the one who is larger than the largest;

Sookshma ho par sthool ho;

You are invisible, and yet, you are the one who is seen everywhere;

Β

Jinse jaanein tumko ,

The instrument by which anything is perceived,

Tum un indriyon ke inda ho;

You are the lord of all those sense organs;

Sparsh ho tum, Gandha ho tum,

And again You alone are touch, smell, Sight, taste and sound,

Drishti , rasa , aur Naad ho;

It’s you alone who manifests as them, as glorified in vedas;

Β

Tum asat ho, tum hi sat ho;

All that is transient and impermanent comes forth from you,Β

You alone are the true essence in all that we see;

Satya ka adhaar ho;

You are the absolute truth upon which all other transient reality is dependent upon;

Tum a-chit ho, tum sa-chit ho;

You exist in all that appears unconscious and lifeless,

You exist in all that is conscious and alive;

Tum hi chit ka bhaas ho,

You alone manifests as reflected consciousness through anything that can be felt, perceived, and known;

Nanda ho, Ananda ho,

You are our Father, the original source, You are the absolute Bliss,

Tum hi to Anandanaatha ho;

You are the Lord of Eternal Β happiness , You are That;

Β

Shvaason ka tum vaig banke,

O ‘ Lord, You are the one who make the breath move,

Pranon ka chaitanya ho,

You are the awareness out of which life sprouts;

Ho anu par tum vibhu ho,

You are smaller than the smallest, and mysteriously, you are the one who is larger than the largest;

Sookshma ho par sthool ho;

You are invisible, and yet, you are the one who is seen everywhere;

Β

Jo bhi dekhein tum hi ho,

O ‘Lord, What more can be said, All that we see is You,

Jo hum sune tera gaan ho;

All that is heard is your divine song that flows out of your flute;

Jo kahein tum tak hi pahunche,

All that is spoken reach your lotus feet alone,

Chit mein bas yeh gyaan ho,

Let this absolute knowledge be ingrained in our memory,

Jnaana chit mein sthith rahe,

One who can be established in this absolute truth that you are,

Phir kisko kiska bhaan hai;

No more he remains separate than you,

Then who will know whom? You alone was, You alone is, and You alone will be.

Β

Shvaason ka tum vaig banke,

O ‘ Lord, You are the one who make the breath move,

Pranon ka chaitanya ho,

You are the awareness out of which life sprouts;

Ho anu par tum vibhu ho,

You are smaller than the smallest, and mysteriously, you are the one who is larger than the largest;

Sookshma ho par sthool ho;

You are invisible, and yet, you are the one who is seen everywhere;
