Being watchful we enter
The river of heartbeats
We’re carried through
Streams seeking oceans
Bleeding from mountains
Of thoughts in despair
Being watchful heals
Wounds and scratches
Facing the current
Brings in its wake
Watchful eyes gently flow
From the heart to the world
A sea forms from the two
Which claims our losses
And stores our gains
It’s the same saltiness
For everyone who enters
Knowing this we stop seeking
And enter our being, watchful

Being watchful
We enter our being
