तुम्हरे भजन राम को भावै। जनम-जनम के दुख बिसरावै।। अन्त काल रघुबर पुर जाई। जहाँ जन्म हरि-भक्त कहाई।।

Narad was roaming in the forest when he saw Hanuman in deep meditation. The name of Sri Rama Was echoing everywhere. Animals, birds, trees all were in pensive meditative self. Narad with a twinkle in his eyes sought to disturb Hanuman. He whispered into the ears of Hanuman, Tell me who is the greatest devotee of Sri Ram? Hanuman answered that there was a big book which Sri Ram had, where all the names of devotees were written. Curious to know more about the book and the list of devotees, he went to Sri Ram who was busy and directed him in the direction of the book. Narad was mightily pleased to find his name in the top of the list. He then searched for Hanuman’s name which was not there. This surprised Narad and he wanted to break the news to Hanuman.

Hanuman did not bother, just smiled and asked him to search for a small book, Again Narad went to Sri Ram. This time Sri Ram opened the book for Narad. He could see only the name of Hanuman.

Narad wondered, Sri Ram replied, the devotees who remember me always are in the big book and in the small book are devotees whom I remember always.
