Guru Kripa…

Om swami with devotees

Dear Friends,

I would like to share an event that happened on evening of 11th July 2015, at 8 pm, with me.

My wife Chetana Om was travelling alone along with the driver to Lucknow. It is a state highway and usually is devoid of any traffic in the late evenings and night.

These days it has been raining heavily in this  part of the country. When she reached a place called Miyaganj her car suddenly entered a water logged area and came to a stop. Despite the  best efforts the car did not move.

It was around 8.30 pm when I suddenly felt an urge to call her. I was shocked to hear that she was in trouble in an unknown place. The earliest I could reach her was like 3 hours. I started to panic and called various helplines and roadside assistance so that something could be done.

Meanwhile I decided to drive down in another car so that atleast I could get her home.  I was at a function and so rushed home. As I did so I kept on planning what to do apart from repeatedly calling my wife. Having reached home I immediately went to my pooja room and bowed down infront of Swamiji’s picture desperately praying to him.

It is then that I heard the soft voice of Swamiji “Relax everything has been taken care of.”

I suddenly felt at  ease.  I called my wife and asked her to pray to Swamiji before starting the car.
She did so and by the grace of Swamiji,  the car started.

All this took place within a span of 30 minutes.

As I share my experience with you all, my wife is comfortably sitting at her parents place in Lucknow,  being graced by the  Lord.

Not many of us believe in miracles and for those, who have seen one, rationalize it with their mind. Intellect usually rules and the grace of God is rarely appreciated. I for once feel blessed to have been a part of this miracle.

And yes  the roadside assistance did finally call at 9.45 pm. But this was my second experience of a car entering a water logged area. Believe me the first time it happened I was in deep trouble apart from paying through my nose.

Ravi Om.
