Now when I look back and see the dots are connecting I realize how resilient I am. And I’m proud of myself for never giving up. I now really wish I had a time machine that could freeze time, I could go 2 years ago and cheer up the little girl. I’m at a point where only peace exists in my life and I’m super successful today. The journey of course has never been easy. But finally, I did it. And you can do it too.

From being hopeless and miserable in my life to being empowered, inspired, passionate and ambitious, the process has been an enriching journey for me. If you’re willing to change your destiny and become the best version of yourself, you’ve got to leave all the things in life that are holding you back. I would like to remind you of the quote here, “This life is solely yours. Others may walk it with you. But no one can walk it for you.” So, it’s you who should take the responsibility for your life and take a leap of faith.

It’s really hard when you have so much in your head, and someone just jump-in and suggests taking a break. But trust me that works. Because of all the tabs that are working in the background of your mind, it’s really difficult to focus on a single tab and you finally can’t get any solutions to any of your questions.

So taking a break from the outside world can help you to reflect on your thoughts and give you directions about where you are lacking in the steps you are taking in your life.


Sometimes the opportunities at your door are stuck because of the sadness you are carrying. Do the things that make you inspired and happy. Remove the toxic emotions out of your life and surrender. This makes way for the opportunity to kick in. Enjoy the things that make you mindful and be present. For example dancing at a slow song, playing with kids and pets, going to that art class you were always thinking of going to, spending time in nature, a good movie, a long hot bath, or anything.


They say the answer to the most intimidating question arises when your mind is silent. So, when you have time to be still, question yourself, “What are your unique skills and talents?” I discovered my passion for writing in the pandemic time when I invested some time of my day to sit silently doing absolutely nothing, reflecting and analyzing my thoughts.

Try to dig deep and try each one of them. If possible try to monetize your skills and talents. You’ll be amazed at discovering your true potential.


Now, who doesn’t know the benefits of meditation? Meditation helps relax our stressed nervous system. Research has claimed that meditating for 20 min on a regular basis activates the Vagus nerve which is the center of healing and creativity. You can only extract solutions to your problems when you are in an expanded state of mind. So I highly recommend you to take up the challenge of meditating for a month and see the difference.


Having a growth mindset helps you open dormant potentials in you. Look at every challenge in your life as an opportunity to grow and a pathway to discovering your truest potential. The most important thing to do here is to embrace every step and not try to be a perfectionist. When you focus more on opportunities rather than problems, the doors of confusion close, and the doors of solutions open.


Self-love is the most beautiful form of love. When you don’t accept yourself the way you are, you cannot expect the world to accept you. You can pour love to others only when you are overflowing with love. So start loving yourself no matter what the outside situations are.


If you are not able to cope-up with the situation and need external help, consult a therapist. Never think you become weak by asking for help. The most courageous are the ones who address their struggles and are brave enough to seek help. If you are drowning in your thoughts, I highly recommend you seek the help of a professional.


Problems don’t define you. What defines you is your reaction and approach to the problem. Never be afraid of having problems. The level of problem you have defines the strength of the potential you possess. You are stronger than you think and smarter than you imagine. Never underestimate your true potential. Also, you can start reading and see that you are not alone, when I started reading the secret of happiness I felt much better and happy.
