I hope you all are doing well… Well I must say you have to do well because, you are reading me(just joking), you are a reader of os.me.
I don’t know what is meditation in actual(tell me something about meditation in your own words).
Today I was thinking about meditation, what is meditation?
I felt meditation varies from person to person. For someone their profession is their meditation. For someone it maybe sitting in a peaceful place for sometime, sitting comfortably, and focus on nothing(I mean to say not focusing on unimportant things, unwanted thoughts). It’s good to extract time for this meditation, everyone should do this. But more important is the long lasting effect of this meditation.
If you are not feeling it’s effect for long time then don’t quit, keep on doing, one day will come when it’ll show it’s color.
I don’t want to make my post big, may be if make it big you’ll loose interest in reading me.
Coming to the point…
All we have to do is to see things from different angle. When we see our sages, we got this thing in mind that they achieved this state by keeping themselves in solitude so to achieve the same state we have to do the same. But in actual it’s not like that solitude is not any outer activity, it’s the matter of inside…. From inside you are with Shri Hari only… He is your only savior. When I think about my present all I get is: “Abhishek you have to study well for now, if you study well you’ll complete your parents dream, importantly I’ll be able to serve people”. I think this is the seva which is given to me by Shri Hari. So when he’s giving me this then it is Meditation for me….
Meditation is awareness.
Awareness means you have to be aware.
Aware of what?
You have to be aware of yourself. Aware of who you are?
Who you are in real?
Answer to this question depends to you.
I’m Child of Jaganmata and servant of Shri Hari!
Now second important thing, you have to be aware of what you are doing right now and for what purpose you doing this.
This is very important… Meditation begins here…
Are you doing your work for yourself?
Ans: No… You are doing this work to serve Shri Hari!…
Now you are aware of your purpose, aware of yourself, so whatever work you are doing is meditation….
So nowadays my meditation is study, to serve Shri Hari’s world in future…
So I’ll close my words with this shloka of “Bhagwat Gita”:
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥
Karmanye vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana
Ma Karmaphalaheturbhurma Te Sangostvakarmani
You have the right to work onlybut never to its fruits.
Let not the fruits of action be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction.
Let me know your views…
Boliye Shri Hari Bhagwan ki Jai!
Govinda! Govinda! Govinda!
Namo Parvati Patye Har Har Mahadev!
