How energized you feel is an important factor in your productivity and performance. Personally, whenever I feel tired or fatigued, I tend to make lazy decisions, get annoyed much more easily, and fail to live up to the standards I’ve set for myself. On the other hand, when I feel mentally and physically energized, I’m much happier, more productive, and disciplined. I think this is something we can all relate to.

Some habits to naturally boost your energy and stop feeling tired :-

1. Seek Inspiration :-             

There’s nothing that provides a bigger energy boost than feeling inspired. Here are few ways you can seek inspiration –       

  • Review your long-term goals.
  • Visualize your future. 
  • Read inspirational quotes. 
  • Watch a motivation video. 
  • Read biographies of the world’s most iconic people. 

2. Sleep 7–8 Hours Per Night :-         

Studies has shown that when you don’t get enough sleep, your cognitive performance goes down the drain. You’re much more likely to get distracted, experience brain fog, and have energy crashes that limit your performance. A good night’s sleep is the foundation of a highly productive day.

3. Don’t Check Your Phone So Much :-     

According to studies, the average smartphone user checks their phone 262 times per day — that’s once every 5.5 minutes. Each time we check our smartphone, our brain needs to process new pieces of information — whether from email, social media, instant messaging, the news, or other apps we’ve downloaded. Processing millions of bits of data is simply hard work — and it consumes a lot of mental energy.
