From the book The Rainmaker – Miracles and Healing stories of Om Swami, I share below one line :
“….. whenever you behave with someone in a rash manner, it’s a slap on my face. Now you decide how many times you would like to do that to your guru. “
I feel like getting big posters printed of the above line and paste them all over in my room. 🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️
Now onwards, how can I dare use harsh words for others ???????
Swamiji further adds – “you need to make sure that you are always smiling and on your best behaviour with everyone. THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.”
These lines may have been addressed to one person, yet I need to keep the above guidance of Swamiji as a benchmark for myself as well . I need not forget even for a second that our Guru is no ordinary guru. I can’t afford to put HIS high standards at stake, if I really want to be His disciple.
Vedananda swamiji has narrated his experiences with Swamiji from a very close quarter, being Swamiji’s P. A. since the year 2018. His detailed sharing of his honest emotions in the book is a gift as also a soft reminder for me.
I will try my best to honour my Guru’s words. At the same time, without Grace, none of our efforts yield the best results – this belief is my hard earned ‘fortune’ ( संपत्ति ) in present life 😊. So I pray to Almighty for His Divine Grace to help me walk the talk. 🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️. Without His Grace ‘am nothing at all.
My dear spiritual family, you also please be with me in this endeavour and whenever you find me going wrong, please help me help myself. Our bond is much deeper than it looks. ❤❤❤❤
Swamiji, I am trying and will try harder to be your worthy disciple. Just keep me nearer….. 🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️
Jai Shri Hari 🌹
