When the clouds begin rolling in
Emptying its wash bin
Skies of dreams
Come to life
Rivers and lakes
End their strife
They close their eyes
And sleep their night
Stopping life’s lies
For the rain
Has taken over
Still the rivers sleep
Not knowing how long
The rain will keep
The long storms
Stop when it’s time to ring the bell
Of the rivers
Then up they spring
Running down but bubbling up
Life, what is the rush?
