July 2016, me along with daughters had a lovely time at ashram. For return journey we booked the cab. I was very keen to see the earliest route to reach ashram and experience the crossing of river Giri by foot. Hence we requested the taxi driver to NOT come all the way to ashram. In stead he may wait on the other side of river. We will walk those 3-4 kilometer and reach the spot in time, so as to reach Kalka Station for train.
Now, the clouds also gathered heavily exactly at the time of our that 30-40 minutes trekking. No umbrella. Luggage with Padam bhaiya, walking ahead. No time to change the plan and call the driver at ashram. Changing plan means missing the train for sure.
We started the walk. As this was my younger one’s first ashram visit, I wanted it to end at a sweet note, without any discomfort of any sort. Only then she would feel like coming again, I felt. As the clouds were dark and heavy, roaring high, rain was certain.
It was at that moment that I turned my head back, towards Swamiji’s kutia and silently prayed for the safe journey. We didn’t want to drench ourselves and the luggage.
And see, the call went through!!!! Connections worked. And worked well. The breeze took speed and wind started to blow fast. Clouds started moving fast, very fast indeed and were soon on the other side of mountain. We did get an amrit varsha, the sacred shower, on us but no drenching at all. Later, on reaching the taxi, through that very thin foot lane, tipsy & curvy, bushes on both sides, I was in awe to learn from the driver that his side of mountain did get very good rain.
So, our Rain Maker changed the direction of clouds for his devotees. 🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️
Today, this anecdote came up in memory bank, when I read a question of a devotee asking if Swamiji listen to us, even if we have not met him in person. 😊
Swamiji listen to us, if the connection at that point of time is working well 😊😊😊😊
