Have you ever wondered where you stand in your spiritual journey? If so, this post is for you!

After a ton of effort and contemplation, I’ve put together these step-by-step spiritual evolution stages. It’s based on my personal experience, scriptural learnings, Swami’s teachings, and some general observations.

Disclaimer: The human mind is complex. So, this list may not be comprehensive. Please take these progression steps with a pinch of salt.

If you’re battling depression, low self-esteem, or other mental health issues, you may need counseling or medical help. Until you heal, the below-given progression isn’t applicable for you. So, please don’t read beyond this section.

Please don’t worry, though. When you recover, you may even land straight into some advanced spiritual stage. May Divine Grace always be with you.

A Special Note:

Sometimes, we may have made huge progress. Still, one particular habit may pull us back 6-7 stages. For example, if we have anger issues, we could oscillate between Stage 9 and Stage 7. At times, it could even get us back to Stage 2.

In that case, we have to pay special attention to removing that one not-so-progressive habit. That’s the power of our habits. Every single one counts!
