Teachers: Part 1

Teachers are truly the foundation of any powerful, prosperous and peaceful country as teachers are the people who make the next generation of any nation- disciplined, honest, hardworking, diligent, responsible and kind. The small children, teenagers and kids in general are the bedrock of any nation. It’s the responsibility of teachers to infuse all the qualities of an ideal citizen in these students. 

A teacher has the potential to ignite a revolution of education like we have seen with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. He was not only a teacher but he was also a scientist. He served the nation in the field of science, aviation and technology. He was part of and even head of esteemed organizations like ISRO and DRDO etc. He was also the president of our nation when Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was running the NDA Government at the centre. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam devoted the whole of his retirement life to teaching, motivating and mentoring students. He gave so many talks and seminars in so many esteemed universities. He did this selfless service without any monetary benefit and he continued to do it until he died in the year 2015.
