There was once a time when India was known for its teachers and Gurus. Just a few centuries ago, people from all over the world used to come to our Bharat for studying. There has been so many great teachers in India’s history that it’s very hard to write about all of them. But the one name that’s popping in my head is of Guru Dronacharya. Guru Drona was the Guru of both Pandavas and Kauravas who fought the epic battle of Mahabharata.

A true teacher doesn’t teach and train all the students in the same manner. Instead, a genuine teacher first knows the possibilities, talents and limitations of their students. Guru Drona did exactly that and he observed both Kauravas and Pandavas on the basis of their inclinations. After deciphering that; he trained Yudishtira with a spear, Bheem and Duryodhana with a mallet, Nakul and Sahadev with swords and Arjuna with bow and arrows.
