It’s our inner world that we need to conquer
If Happiness is what we are after
Regulation of thoughts regulates our feelings, the mantra hereafter
Sturdy control of thoughts and feelings, a prerequisite to the calm and peaceful nectar
Taking personal response-ability for our experiences, the steadfast anchor
Practicing gratitude as a quotidian affair, the steroid to triple-boost our self-care
Jealousy and envy, a flight of perspective blasts away these twin snares
Obsessing over outcomes, the devil’s perfect ensnare
Gaining internal control rigs the game, tips the scales, to our share
External factors are left impotent and impaired at such nonchalant glare
Purposeful, meaningful pursuit in a mindful flow, the path to evade existential dread’s devour
Self-compassion at wear and tear, best medicine to safeguard from the melancholic shower
Motivation a myth, discipline the rule, sole reliance on the former parches our productive power
Suffering need not be a downer, meaning derived from pain, the fertilizer for life to flower
Chasing materialistic pleasures and hedonistic lifestyle, life sold to a vicious cycle of upper and sour
Detachment to the dazzles and fizzles of the senses, best gift to empower, leaving no more abysses to scour
It’s our inner world that we need to conquer
If Happiness is what we are after
