The tennis ace and World No 1 Novak Djokovic was out from the US Open, the 17-time grand slam winner was disqualified from the US Open, a tournament he was favorite to win to close, not that he was not at his best,to beat world no 27 ,but he was lost to his anger.
The ball hit the official and according to rule book,he was was disqualified.”Eight stages of anger”- a golden nugget for every person no matter what he follows ,has simply made it clear that “As long as even one layer of this onion is present, it’s enough to fill the room with a strong smell and make you cry.”,the case seems similar in this situation.
Being a working profession, we too get it in similar kind of a situation where we most of the time unintentionally ,we call it “hit of the moment”.The “Eight stages of Anger”- post is really insightful and helping me in my professional as well as in my spiritual path, as i have learned that Anger overshadows over observation towards the situation. The simple tips that Swamiji’s has put forward is really “sanjivni” for every working professional or a Business head.Though i am not saying,i have properly excelled this costly emotion, but i am on a new level to take better decision and wise choices,i am still practising .Being passionate about work is important, but there is no excuse for being out loud with a colleague, team member or seniors.
“… Now whether he likes it or not, he’s going to be the bad guy the rest of his career. It’ll be interesting to see how he handles it.”-ESPN on Novak Djokovic.
