When two people agree on everything, one of them isn’t necessary at all. !!!!!
Isn’t it true that when two people agree on everything or to say when everybody agree on everything, the growth and the progress stops as there is no room left for new ideas to flourish. What I think is that we all have the right to differ and to hold different opinion from the masses. We can’t just agree on everything just because everybody thinks it to be right.
Everybody is unique and everybody has unique ideas and the one holding the different and unique idea is not required to feel isolated. Rather he should feel good to hold the different idea and view point which is distinct from the others provided his ideas are not devastating, culpable or sinful. We are not bound to be part of the flock and to tread the path everybody is following just because everybody thinks it’s the right way.
George Bernard Shaw has said’ “The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
I fully agree and resonate with the aforesaid statement. Sometimes we have to be unreasonable to counter the unreasonable world and to hold different opinions from the masses to progress.
The more organic matter begins to rot in the stagnant water and thus the new, different and revolutionary ideas and thoughts are not meant to be rotten in the stagnant dogmas of the society.
It is the need of the hour that the entire intellectual class of the society must rise above the stagnated rules of the society and to make this earth worth living for the generations to come where they can live following their heart and soul and not just by following which everybody is following unreasonably.
To sum up, I am reminded of the couplet written by Nida Fazli
दो और दो का जोड़ हमेशा चार कहां होता है,
सोच समझ वालों को थोड़ी नादानी दे मौला।
(Two and two does not always add up to four,
Oh Lord, please give a little innocence to all these learned people)!!!!!!
