We celebrate π Diwali πͺ with so much colour, light, illumination, decoration, joy and cracking fire π₯. Diwali πͺ is a celebration π of life and living. But I wonder, how much of this joy percolates to everyone in the society ? Is Diwali soothing the pain of poverty, marginalisation, ostracisation, and decimation of dreams ? When we are enjoying our moments of illumination, is it illuminating someoneβs darkness of despair?
Let us dedicate our celebration π of Diwali πͺ as lightening up the dreams amidst despair. Let us share our moments of happiness with someone who is in need of a human touch, a human support, a human smile, a human gift π. Let us light our own heart with a dazzling empathy that lightens the lives of many to remember Diwali as a celebration of human kindness
Imagine a rich country donating a huge sum to a poor country as a debt free financial package wrapped with the love β€οΈ of Diwali πͺ. What a gesture it will show to the world π in form of being so rich in empathy and kindness, richer than being rich in materialistic wealth. When we could reach that state of celebrating Diwali πͺ, the true meaning of Diwali πͺ will be deciphered
Let us zero-set our negativity on the day of Diwali πͺ. Let us forgive and forget. Let us start afresh with a new turf of love and compassion, tolerance and understanding, giving and contributing, soothing and supporting
Happy Diwali πͺ to all my friends here
Hari Om
