Do you believe change is the only constant thing?

Do you take responsibility for any or every incident happening to you?.

Over the last few months, I have had very close calls to blast out on the other person. Yet I stayed steady, still NOT perfect, yet daring to share a few habit-changing and ownership-taking hacks of life activities, which I continue to practise.

A few of the things that Swamiji said and have always attracted me about living life practically:

  • You are more spiritual and kind if you can honestly help someone when in need, rather than sitting hours doing some pooja and chanting for hours and have an unkind heart.
  • You are closer to consciousness if you truly and dedicatedly work for your work, business, team, company, or project. Rather than doing some rituals for hours and expecting some miraculous awakening.

These are paraphrased thoughts of pragmatic, charismatic, divine, and soulful respected Swami Ji,

One similar piece of advice that I am following since this March is what he asked here β€” to sleep earlier or get up earlier (at least 40-45 mins) than the usual schedule.

Yes, I took a couple of days to restructure my mindset, and even ran it by my wife, she gently smiled, “I can not get up early πŸ™‚ Don’t expect from me.” Well, but I did choose to get up early, since 25 March, and continue to do so. (lapse of 2-3 times till date)

Again here (28th March 2021), he asked to drop something, could be anything, a habit, an action, an activity, something. I again took a couple of days, even asked my wife, what do I like the most or am picky about. (I knew a couple of things), she came up with a couple more from her list πŸ˜‰ Well, I asked so, can’t back out. Hence she listed a few top items that were my demand of asking for fresh coriander (hara dhania) in everything. πŸ™‚ I love it, can’t help it. (Food item for Surekha Ji). And a couple more.

I finally chose to not drink tea or coffee. So since then not taken those lovely drinks (nor the other good drinks πŸ˜‰ , which I don’t take anyway). No lapse so far.

In one of his discourses, someone asked him, I don’t have much time to do things, how can I follow the journey of sadhana and or spirituality. His solution was as always, a pragmatic solution (though I knew this since when I was in class X), yet when he said it, I thought over it few times and initiated a New journey of Journaling. His solution was to divide your entire day into 1-hour blocks and write what is right in those blocks for a week and it will give clarity of your time slippage.

I did that, more on this in the next post, the journey is still ON.

Taking life’s beautiful course with the help of all so kind, generous, and divine people. I am thoroughly enjoying the practical journey.

“He said, I am there with you, all the knowledge you need, is in my books, discourses and so many literatures. My role is to hold your hand and walk you through on your journey. ” – Om Swami (Paraphrased)

Inculcate needed NEW and let go of what’s NOT needed Old/New.

And I believe so… do you? Do share πŸ™‚ in comments below.

Your generosity and kindness mean a lot to me.

Koti Koti Pranam to the ever caring, loving, superbeing Swami Ji.

Jai Shri Hari.
