Sometimes we get lost in this world. Slowly, slowly drifting apart from our true self. The worldly influence blinds our eyes may be this is called “Maya”. Very lucky are few who understand this illusion of life and try to maintain their true self. I really don’t have any much idea what this true self is. But I think it will be that gives peace to our life. I think if we are true to ourselves no matter what happens externally we will still be blissful. But what if we are still lost from our true self that we don’t know how far we have come. How to get back to our blissful nature? I ask this question to myself daily. The person I am today, do I really feel good in this skin or there is something I would like to change daily. Most of the time I feel a lot of work is required to become my true self a blissful one. But how to start this work. I know it’s not a day’s work, but a lifetime one.

“We are responsible for what we are, and whatever we wish ourselves to be, we have the power to make ourselves. If what we are now has been the result of our own past actions, it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in the future can be produced by our present actions; so we have to know how to act.”

I have recently come up with an idea that to start any work on ourselves, we need to stop the chatter of society. Yes lot of people with their different perspectives and opinions. Peeling myself layer by layer that whatever I am doing today does it needs to stop or continued and whether it brings peace or chaos. I know I am not a perfect one, many times I do things that I regret later. This cycle of regrets have always bought lots of chaos inside me. Although I am still at the beginner level, but I have felt, the more we start to meditate lot of this chaos doesn’t make any sense. No one ever had the perfect answer to all the questions of life and yes, we all drift apart from our true self one time or another. But it doesn’t mean we can’t return back. We can change the course of our life anytime we want. It’s just one step away from realization. Just patience and constantly working on ourselves have the power to bring miracles in our lives. Whatever happens whether you feel proud or otherwise just don’t let this stop you from reaching your blissful nature. All the regrets are small hurdles that are just saying you drifted apart from yourself, but now return back and achieve what you want.

“Arise, awake, stop not till the goal is reached.”
