Mind full of multiple thoughts, I thought of taking a stroll on a mud road. Zen calls it Kinhin – the practice of walking mindfully.
Some part of the road was filled with mud that was hard, some with stones (big and small), some with potholes and thorns.
Though I wasn’t able to walk mindfully beyond a few moments but I realized few things:
Life is like this road, a mixture of good, bad, hard, smooth moments. May be its about enjoying the walk and if we get tired then its okay to relax for few moments. Sometimes when the walk becomes unbearable, its just about being a witness of the road.
And once in a while its possible that we come across a beautiful parrot, a giant tree under which we can rest a bit or a beautiful insect that can make the journey beautiful again.
