Maa – The All Knowing, Caring, Loving and Giving
I recently had the honour of having the Darshan of Maa at Vaishno Devi and Tirumala (Maa Padmavati). I have always been confused regarding what I should ask from Maa that would help me grow. But recently I have had a change of mind.
Change of Prayer
I evaluated all that I’ve got in my life, from joy to sorrows, from good to bad moments and from easy going to a life filled of hardships. Whatever life has thrown at me till now has been in a way or another for my own good. I’ve gained peace from the joyous moments, and have gained invaluable life experience from all the hardships. I never asked for problems in my life from Maa but still there are and will be. So my prayer to Maa has also changed. I’ve come to know that I do not know what is best for me, when I am praying in front of Maa. Whatever I ask, if it’s not right for me, she will not give it to me, like a small baby demands from her mother. She is Maa after-all. Now whenever I go to a temple, the only thing I say is:
You’ve given me all this without asking. You know what I want, better than myself. Please forgive all of the mistakes I’ve made in my life.
These are my only lines to Maa. My eyes fill up when I tell these things to her, and ask for forgiveness. I tear up because of her vast care and love for all. She gives to all, and the only thing I can do for her is offer her flowers and fruits.
