Gratitude is defined as the quality of being thankful,show appreciation for or to return kindness. Gratitude is counting your blessings that you have in your life and to not take it for granted.

Never take the power of a simplest thankyou for granted. It’s the most simple way of spreading kindness and seeing God’s love for us and proclaim his greatness. There’s a story in Bible:(Jesus healing the leapers)

As Jesus walked by, all 10 cried out for healing. “Go, show yourselves to the priests,” Jesus commanded and as they went, they were healed!  Certainly they were all happy, but only one was thankful. Only one came back to Jesus to thank him.

Jesus asked,”Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” Luke 17:17-19

       Gratitude is not only for the good things in your life but also for the difficult situations because they make you a stronger and better person and takes you closer to your real self. When you start being thankful consciously a time will come when it becomes your second nature and you can see divine grace everywhere.

            Gratitude allows you to be present in this moment and gives you relief from mind’s constant chit- chat of projecting either to the past or making plans for future. It frees you from the stories your mind creates of envy,jealousy, hatred, pride,arrogance and makes you see God’s grace in everywhere, every being, everytime and in all circumstances.
