Whatever comes in this world it will slowly wither away
Maybe day after tomorrow, tomorrow or even today.
O Naanak, please the sacred glory of Lord peacefully sing!
Leave away the worries of foolish worldly affairs that sting.
Guru Ji says whoever is born, it will be gone one day, even if we try to live for as long as possible. Then, why should we waste life span bestowed upon us as gift? So, in order to protect us from making the mistakes over and over again, Guru Ji encourages us to begin and end our day and every action with the glories of God all the time – while reading, while eating, while doing anything that matters to us and while completing daily tasks. By doing so our mind get absorbed in the name of God, and gets slowly detached from the worldly rat-race. He tells us to yearn for time to give to devotion and self-improvement. In the conclusion, we need to leave all mundane entanglements and worldly affairs – gossips, fights, stabbing at one’s back and other negative traits of ours. Thus, in this way we can live calmly and peacefully.
Satnaam Sri Waheguru and Jai Shri Hari.
Please, take care of yourself, all of you.
