God’s sacred name has peacefully, slowly entered thy core,

Nothing can be equal to it this is the truth since days of yore.

By remembering it all the obstacles will go and withdraw,

Finally, the pious vision of God you will attain and remain in awe.

Commentary:

Guru Ji with his last and conclusive verse tells us that listen, O human being, when the Lord’s name dwells in our heart, our life will change forever, because nothing is equal to it (the divine residing in our heart). He says, moreover, that when we remember Lord’s name, all fears vanish away and negative thoughts dissolve, and we will see God everywhere and in every heart. Let us imbibe the wisdom of our Guru, our Swami, and become the best version our own selves with name of Divine in our heart. Let us be with our actions and with our words, written and spoken, compassionate towards every being.

In Sanskrit, Raam means the one who resides in everywhere in form of joy and bliss.

P.S.

Pardon me, for being away. Got busy with work. By the way, this is the last Salok of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. If you want to know where to look in Guru Granth Sahib Ji – go to page 1426-1429. I will continue to read your posts, even though I won’t be able to write on os.me. And for that I sincerely apologise.
