Stress management has not always been my forte. I have struggled with it before coming across the Black Lotus app. For a start let me tell you a simple joke.

My good friend Chotu is the type that stresses over little things and everything that doesn’t even matter. Recently he seemed to be very calm and at ease with everything.

“How come you are calm like this all of a sudden?” I asked.

“I have hired a professional to worry about all my problems,” he replied. “It only costs me a thousand rupees per week.”

“One thousand rupees a week! How on earth are you going to afford that?” I asked.

“I don’t know, that’s his problem”.

Is it possible to meditate while taking a shower? 

Is it possible to be mindful at every step and within our every action? In one of my previous articles, I covered the aspect of being meditative while sweeping and cleaning the house. One step further, can we be meditative in the shower? There is water, massage, aromatherapy, kneading of the muscles, peace, ‘me and myself’, music, favorite oils and so on. 

In the next post, I will break down the steps as I visualised doing Shower meditation. All credits go to the Black Lotus app for inspiring me on this topic. If I had not learnt mindfulness, I would still be going through life without enjoying the little things, be it as small as a shower.
